Ingredients:

2 lbs shrimp
1 can crabmeat
1/2 pint oysters
several whole crabs, cleaned
3 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 cup parsley, finely chopped
3 tbsp flour
1/2 cup green onions
2 large onions, chopped
3 cups okra, chopped
1 can whole tomatoes
2 quarts water
Directions:
  1. Make roux from oil and flour. Be careful to stir constantly. Roux should be dark brown when finished.

  2. Add shrimp to roux and cook for a several minutes. Set aside.

  3. Add oil to okra, onions, tomatoes and garlic. Add water, salt and pepper once okra has cooked down.

  4. Add shrimp and roux to vegetable mixture and simmer for 30 minutes.

  5. Add crabmeat, oysters and whole crabs and simmer until crabs are cooked.

  6. Add green onions and parsley then simmer another 20 minutes.

  7. Serve over rice.
