A delicious recipe for this exotic meat

Ingredients

  • 1 pound alligator
  • 1 beer (10 or 12 oz)
  • 1/2 cup white flour
  • 1 teaspoon Season-All
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Cornmeal
  • Vegetable oil

Method

Step 1

Cut alligator into strips.

Step 2

Mix beer, flour, pepper, salt and Season-All to create batter.

Step 3

Coat the meat with batter.

Step 4

Coat battered meat with cornmeal.

Step 5

Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
