Louisiana Spicy Fried Cabbage2013-01-06
- 2 lbs cabbage, diced finely
- 1 medium onion, chopped finely
- 1 lb bacon, chopped finely
- 2 tbsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt (optional)
Fry bacon pieces in skillet until brown and crispy.
Add onion and saute until transparent.
Add cabbage, red pepper, black pepper, and salt stirring well.
Cover skillet and reduce heat to low. Cook until cabbage is tender.
