- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 medium cabbage, coarsely chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped fine
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 cups rice
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 2 cups water
Preheat oven to 350F.
Add oil to the bottom of a baking dish.
Mix ground pork and beef together.
Place half of the cabbage, rice, ground pork and beef mixture, bell pepper and onion.
Cover layer with half of the can of tomato sauce.
Make another layer on top of the first layer using the method above.
Cover top layer with the rest of the tomato sauce. Season with salt and pepper and add water.
Bake for one hour.
